Multi-Strand Sciacca Coral Necklace with Pearl Cluster

Multi-Strand Sciacca Coral Necklace with Pearl Cluster
Rajola

A dozen-plus strands of Sciacca coral beads twist together into a rich, textured collar, gathering at a striking centerpiece of clustered freshwater pearls and coral accents in an 18k gold settings. Two larger coral nuggets punctuate the strands at the back, and the piece closes with an 18k gold toggle clasp, adjustable extension chain, and a small coral drop charm.

Bold and tactile, this is a true statement necklace — equal parts vintage glamour and organic texture. Owning Sciacca Coral is owning a piece of history. It is petrified coral, 1,000 to 3,000 years old, that was literally frozen in place by an underwater volcano and harvested from the Mediterranean. It has a unique orange tone to it and is considered environmentally friendly. This piece comes with a book telling the story/history of Sciacca coral.
